PROTEGE QV lance un appel à propositions visant à documenter la désinformation genrée au Cameroun.
Cet appel à propositions vise à sélectionner des journalistes et des chercheurs passionnés et rigoureux pour produire des articles de fond qui documentent et analysent des cas concrets de désinformation genrée au Cameroun. L’objectif est de mettre en lumière ce phénomène, d’analyser ses mécanismes de propagation et de proposer des pistes de solutions.

L’objet du mail devra être “Réponse de [Votre nom] à l’Appel à propositions sur la documentation de la désinformation genrée au Cameroun
Le mail (max 400 mots, en français ou anglais) doit inclure :
• Votre nom/organisation et votre profil ;
• Votre intérêt pour la lutte contre la désinformation sexiste ;
• Votre implication personnelle dans la lutte contre la désinformation sexiste ou la défense des droits numériques ;
• Une brève description du sujet que vous souhaitez aborder (100-200 mots sur les 400), basé sur un incident ou un événement camerounais illustrant la désinformation genrée.
Vous serez informé(e) de la suite réservée à votre proposition avant le 02 octobre 2025.

Call for Proposals: Documenting Gendered Disinformation in Cameroon
PROTEGE QV is issuing a call for proposals to document gendered disinformation in Cameroon.
This call for proposals aims to select passionate and rigorous journalists and researchers to produce in-depth articles that document and analyze concrete cases of gendered disinformation in Cameroon. The objective is to shed light on this phenomenon, analyze its mechanisms of propagation, and propose potential solutions.
How to participate?
Send an email to Serge Daho (sergedaho@yahoo.fr) and cc (pegmidebana@gmail.com) before September 25, 2025.
The subject line of the email must be: “Response from [Your Name] to the Call for Proposals on Documenting Gendered Disinformation in Cameroon”
The email (maximum 400 words, in French or English) must include:
- Your name/organization, your profile, and city of residence
- How were you informed of the call for proposals
- Your interest in the fight against gendered disinformation
- Your personal involvement in the fight against gendered disinformation or the defense of digital rights
- A brief description of the topic you wish to address (100-200 words included in the previous 400 ), based on a Cameroonian incident or event that illustrates gendered disinformation.
You will be informed of the outcome of your proposal before October 2, 2025.
